2012, A Retrospective

My year, in no particular order.

Over this last year I made it through my second and third semesters of law school; worked my tail off to reelect the president; studied in China, and checked off the second leader on my “embalmed communist leaders world tour”; went back to Vietnam, saw old friends, crashed a motorbike and got a lovely scar on my eyelid in the process; decided to go to Cambodia on a whim; got lost a lot in my travels; read more pages than I care to count; came out; put something like 1,500 miles on my scooter; wrote lots and lots of pages; traveled farther by myself in countries where I don’t speak any of the language than I’ve done before; took up drinking scotch; read some more; and well, all in all had a good year.

Here’s to 2013.
